NONPROFIT
Teach A Village, Inc.
Closing the digital divide, one skill at a time.
Teach A Village, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to closing the digital divide by teaching basic computer skills to underserved communities. From navigating a keyboard and mouse to using email, online forms, and everyday software, we equip people with the foundational skills they need to participate in today's digital world — whether that's applying for a job, accessing services, or simply staying connected. We believe digital literacy shouldn't be a privilege, and we're working to make it a given.
OUR FOCUS
Building confidence with everyday technology
Practical, hands-on skills — taught patiently, at whatever pace a person needs.
Computer Basics
Navigating a keyboard, mouse, and screen with confidence — the essential starting point for everything else.
Email & Communication
Setting up and using email, staying in touch, and communicating safely online.
Everyday Software & Forms
Word processing, online forms, and the everyday programs people are often expected to already know.
Online Safety & Confidence
Practical habits for staying safe online and feeling comfortable navigating it, without fear of "doing it wrong."
OUR COMMUNITY
Meeting people where they are
Access to technology shouldn't determine whether someone can apply for a job, manage their health care, connect with family, or take part in everyday life. We focus on people who've been left behind by the shift to digital-first systems — often older adults, job seekers, and families without steady access to a computer at home — meeting each person exactly where they are, with patience and without judgment.
