Project data: the pricing calculations you create and save — materials, costs, labor rates, margins, and craft type. This is stored under your account.
Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number — Stripe handles that directly and securely. We retain only subscription status and billing history metadata (e.g., plan type, renewal date).
Usage data: basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and general usage patterns, used to maintain and improve the app.
Email marketing data: if you sign up for our free cheat sheet or newsletter, your email is added to our mailing list via Mailchimp, and you'll receive occasional pricing tips and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: - Provide and maintain your account and saved projects - Process subscription payments and manage billing - Send you service-related emails (e.g., billing receipts, password resets) - Send marketing emails if you've opted in, via Mailchimp - Improve and troubleshoot the app
3. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to run the app: - Base44 — application hosting, database, and account infrastructure - Stripe — payment processing - Mailchimp — email marketing, if you've opted in
These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain billing records for legal or tax purposes.
